About Paws N Recreation
Paws N Recreation LLC is a small scale, owner operated dog training service in the Mountains Edge community, of Southwest Las Vegas. We are dedicated to caring for high-drive, working-breeds such as Belgian Malinois, German Shepherds, herders, collies, pointers, field-line retrievers, spaniels, terriers, and other active dog breeds. We understand some dogs need more than a neighborhood stroll — they need purpose, challenge, and space to be the dogs they were bred to be. Our dog training programs are designed to channel energy, sharpen focus, and build dependable skills through guided outdoor work, problem solving, and real-world training.
Who we serve
We offer dog training and dog boarding to the Mountain’s Edge, Southern Highlands and Summerlin communities. Our services are built for sport competitors, working dog handlers, active families, and committed dog owners who need consistent, purposeful training and enrichment to channel their dogs’ intensity.

We build a strong relationship with your dog using play, toys, movement, food, and the surrounding environment. By tapping into your dog’s natural breed instincts and tendencies, we shape behaviors that fit real-world expectations. Our program emphasizes clear communication, precise reward timing, purposeful luring, leash skills, and cooperative play to manage and navigate real-time situations. Exercises are introduced in progressive stages, advancing only when the dog shows understanding, control, and consistent performance. This staged approach develops control, reliability, and confidence in the very environments your dog will encounter.

She assesses each dog’s drive, learning style, and behavior to create a tailored training plan that blends structured exercise, obedience skills, and impulse control. Every activity Angie selects is designed to satisfy a dog’s natural instincts while promoting lasting training outcomes.
Beyond training techniques, our approach places the dog’s well‑being at the center of every decision. That means consistent routines, clear communication with owners, careful monitoring of stress and fatigue, and adjustments as dogs progress.
